When You Are Toastmaster of the Day

About once a year, you will be called upon to be Toastmaster of the Day (TMOD) -- the Toastmaster in charge of running a meeting of the club. This is excellent training in how to organize and run a meeting effectively -- a skill very much in demand in Washington!

We have some great resources that you will find useful in serving as TMOD. These items can help you plan your work, set up the agenda, and run the meeting.

Click on each document to have it pop open in this window, or right click to "Save target as" to a convenient folder in your computer.

The Cap 1 TMOD Guide: Capital Toastmasters I Guidelines for the TOASTMASTER OF THE DAY. In Microsoft Word format.

Agenda Template: A Microsoft Word document in which you can put in the date and names of the participants.

Sample Agenda: How the agenda should look when you're done.

However, you don't have to use the sample agenda; you can set it up any way you want. Here is our club logo. Feel free to build your own agenda and use the logo.

Good luck! The club is counting on you!
