Joining Capital Toastmasters I

Thank you for your interest in joining Capital Toastmasters I! The Toastmasters program is a proven path to better speaking, and Capital Toastmasters I gives you an outstanding opportunity to participate. We are an independent club not affiliated with any employer or organization, and we are open to all members of the community.

To schedule a visit, please send an email to our Vice President/Membership, Ron Barrett, by clicking on his name. Please contact Ron to arrange a visit -- no drop-ins allowed due to security requirements.

We ask that prospective members visit before joining the club. On joining, there is a fee to Toastmasters International of $20 for the manual, plus a pro-rated fee of $45 for a 6-month time period. Thereafter, the fee due to Toastmasters International is $45 for each 6-month time period. There is also a fee of $20/six months to cover club expenses.

Once you have visited our club and made a decision to join, you may consult with Cara Jablon, Treasurer, about completing the membership application and submitting dues.

Please give the application and check to Cara or mail them to her at:
