Visiting Our Club

If you think you might want to try Toastmasters but would like to know what you are getting into, we invite you to pay us a visit and see the club in action! You'll see how every member is involved in every meeting, how the program really works, and just how supportive and encouraging we are.

You will have an opportunity to speak as well! We ask guests briefly to introduce themselves and tell us who they are and why they've come. At the end of the meeting, we ask you to give your overall impression of the meeting.

If you're serious about getting better at public speaking -- or even getting started in public speaking -- Capital Toastmasters I is the club for you!

Normally, we meet at the American Bar Association, 1050 Connecticut Avenue, NW, 5th Floor in Washington, DC. However, we are currently meeting remotely via ZOOM. To attend a meeting please contact our Vice President/Membership, Ron Barrett, by clicking on his name.
